June Full Moon
I went to an SCA event today, and had a beautiful time.
I actually felt like I looked beautiful, which is rare for me, and was told so by two men who are not my partners. I talked with friends. I walked in the woods while my son fell asleep in my arms. It was a delightful day.

I am in the SCA . I just stepped down as Chatelaine. It was 10 years of dedication and I just want to be able to attend events as a 'commoner' now rather than an officer whom everyone NEEDS something from! lol
I'm glad you attended an event! Not only did you feel beautiful, I bet you were!
It's great to 'find' another solitary practitioner on the blogsphere.

I have been in the SCA for about 6 years and have found it so enriching. I have gotten to know people I never would have otherwise had the chance to meet and have learned all manner of interesting skills and information. Also, my wonderful but rather unusual family met through our involvement in the SCA.
I have lots of catching up to do on this blog. I am hoping to get to it soon.
